11:25pm and vbs is over

well today vbs is over and done with

the stage looks better than it has in 6 months

i had great help this week and threw my leaders a poolparty

there were about 25-30 people there and everyone seemed to have a good time

so now i am still up at almost midnight

and have to get up and take the middle schoolers to sea world 

thursday night i went and saw iron man with sam

the late late movie

i think here soon i am going to collapse

let me challenge you though

go off of caffeine its great

and a side not for all those that care (prop none)

i finally went to the doctor and got my feet looked at

she said soriesis (however you spell it)

and i have 4 meds for my feet

who has ever heard of any thing so ridiculous

i spent $100 on meds for my feet lol

so stupid but if it works

then its worth it

im going to bed

we are 3 days down with vbs

and talk about exhausting

4 hours with these kids is like a full day of work

i have been taken naps when get home

and conking out by 10

2 more days and we are done

fri will be easier

fri night i am having a leaders party 

for those that helped

saturday i am taking the 5th and 6th graders to sea world

i was up at 5:20 am and will prob be at the church until almost 9pm

how do you live without caffeine?

i like being off of caffeine because i dont have the lows

but on days like these how can i keep going without it

when my eyes are already burning and its only 8:40 am

my mamaw and papaw are coming in today  

i have not seen them in a long time

i have often felt like the spare tire in my family

not in my immediate family

but with the aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents

this is probably because we lived in Romania

when i came back i went to college and have not slowed down since

so the relationships there have been sparse

recently i have seen a different side to them than ever before

one was the introduction of great grand kids

and the other was my 16 year old cousin getting cancer

they have been by his side 100% percent of the time

thus why i have not seen them in a long time

i told my papaw he was doing what Jesus would do

and they have been

there perspective on life and family i am sure has changed drastically

and you can see the effects of it

so today i will be picking them up 

they will stay the night

i am excited

and tomorrow we will drive to st. pete and be with all the family

looking for a dummy

i have been looking for a dummy

and not the person that first pops in your head that drive you crazy

a legit dummy

any dummy will do

just one willing to work for a couple hours

each day next week

they are usually good actors

and i need one that can portray

a couch potato

just any ol' dummy

overwhelmed

the next two weeks are overwhelming

prepping for VBS

and then pulling off VBS

next year i will hug the luziers necks

in our christian walk

some believe that it is ok

to live in a sin

they have a struggle 

and they think it ok to continue in it

it isnt

scripture tells us that God will not let us be so tempted

that we cannot resist

no temptation has seized you except common to man. and God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. but when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so you can stand up under it  1 corinthians 10:13

if God has given us a way out

does he expect us to keep living in it

and if we are still living in sin

and are being convicted and do no listen

are we not disobeying God

how can we expect to have communication with him

if we are cut off from him by a continual sin

took noah to the doctor 

got home and was able to sleep for an hour

well i am thinking that a head cold is not a fun thing at all

it is funny how you are feeling great one minute and the next you are barley keeping your eyes open, your head feels heavy, your eyes burn, your sinuses feel congested, and you feel like sleeping for days

so all of this change, reminds me how quickly change comes, one minute your going along and just like the head cold, bam! it happens

i was on a plane once and as we were getting ready to get off, the pilot comes on and said: 

thank your for flying with us today, as soon the the seat belt sign goes off you may exit, please be careful as you open the overhead bins, because remember, shift happens!

i thought i was hilarious, I was driving from macedonia to greece, while visiting my parents, i remembered that and called my mom on the phone in the other car and told her, she couldn't stop laughing, i told my dad and he just goes, ohh

Sundays are long, tiring, and rewarding

Kids Church went great today

I love family month

Tonight is movie night and i doubt i will get to see it 

because there are so many people signed up

Thats alright I will prob try and see it Tuesday Night if we can get someone to watch Noah

A song we sing in kids church goes like this:

I thought this was appropiate because anytime in Sunday School

a kids answer is going to be 

"Jesus"

saturday morning

dont get to many mornings at home with the family, 

usually when i leave they are asleep and sometimes by time i get home

it is time to sleep

but there are the rare few saturday mornings when i can get up (not really sleeping in because noah wakes us up) and just chill out at the house

i think i am learning a few things about work

you can do the least amount of work

find the shortest and easiest route

get others to do things for you

and still be out on top

is this right? no

is this how it works? no

could i ever do that? no

but for some reason others seem to make it happen and get by with it

and yes still end up on top

(i read this in a article and thought it was something to think about, don't worry we all know hard work pays off)

motivated by the thought

well i was motivated to start the blog by the thought that it would be something i could do that i didnt have to do and the fact that this is the first weekend in prob a year that i really dont have any work to do, at home or at GT
